A store. A street. A shared history.
Generations of Rockhampton shoppers have known this facade. Its story is woven into the street around it.
The painted name above the awnings. The shop windows along East Street. The corner where people came to catch a bus, meet in town, and step inside. The archive holds a glimpse of the everyday life that grew around Stewarts.
Over the years, the departments and the range have changed. The address has remained part of the story.
